The Black Swan is a Learndirect Centre and can offer qualifications in:

• Adult Literacy
• Adult Numeracy
• Basic IT.

At Black Swan Centre individuals can also receive:

• One to one advice and guidance aimed at helping people access training and employment opportunities
• Support with the preparation of CVs, applying for jobs, completing application forms and guidance on improving interview techniques
• Personal and comprehensive support with job search and sourcing vacancies to match an individual’s skills with jobs available in the area
• Introductory training in the use and application of Information Technology.

Black Swan is also a UK Online Centre where people can access computers and other ICT equipment. This enables them to learn:

• How to use a computer
• How the Internet works
• How to use a range of specialised computer software.

Staff are available to support first time learners through the process and answer any questions.

Black Swan is a member of the Recruitment Network, a unique employment resource that connects local people to local employers and employment opportunities in Coventry.
